Hi! I’m Lara and welcome to Jackass!
I say this because my blog has been averaging a little over 1,000 views per month since October and I haven’t been capitalizing on it. My last post was October 18th, 2019. This is significantly more readership than I’m used to but as it turns out, my JoJo article is one of the first things that comes up when you type, “Is Anasui trans?,” into Google and various other search engines. This accounts for about 900-950 monthly views. I also get about 25-50 monthly views due to someone sharing my Shel Silverstein Article on Reddit. Thanks u/aintscurrdscars! You deserve your 153k of comment karma and more. All this has been going on despite six months of inactivity.
Where have I been these past six months? I haven’t gone anywhere. I’ve just been tired, unmotivated, and distracted by other things. I spend a lot of time with my girlfriend though I refuse to blame her for my inactivity as she’s always asking me when I’m going to start writing again. My job can be tiring but it only takes up 40 hours of my week. I have plenty of time outside of work to write. I think it’s just me. I’ve been absent and I’m not going to make excuses for it.
So why am I back? Well, I live in Austin, Texas and for those of you who don’t know, we have a shelter in place order until April 13th due to COVID-19. This means I’m not supposed to leave the house unless it’s absolutely necessary. Like everyone else, I am incredibly bored. I want to solve this by rediscovering my passion for writing. Hopefully, I’ll be able to keep it going this time around. If nothing else, I should be able to establish a decent backlog.
Anyways, I have returned and it’s all thanks to a deadly pandemic! The next article will be up soon so please don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe, share with friends, type, “Is Anasui trans?,” into search engines, don’t join a tiger sex cult, and stay the fuck at home. Thanks for reading.
PS: My almost 10k total views has resulted in $0.25 of ad revenue for me so that’s fun.
